This hike is for families with sons and daughters ages 5 - 18 (American Heritage Girls and Trail Life Troops) and also young women and men ages 18-25 leading their own Guidon group.
Trail Life USA is a Christ-Centered, Boy-Focused mentoring and discipleship journey that speaks to the heart of a boy. Established on timeless values derived from the Bible and set in the context of outdoor adventure, boys from ages 5 to 18 are engaged in a Troop setting by male mentors where they are challenged to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills to carry out the mission for which they were created.

American Heritage Girls is the premier national character development organization for girls ages 5 to 18 that embraces Christian values and encourages family involvement. AHG helps girls acquire skills that will assist them in all areas of life. These skills may include how to use a computer, sew on a button, protect themselves, learn about their ancestors, or what it takes to be an astronaut. The Badge program provides opportunities for girls to interact across age groups, as older girls teach younger girls. Each Badge can be earned at three different levels (Tenderheart, Explorer, and Pioneer/Patriot).

Trail Life El Cajon and American Heritage Girls El Cajon Troops CA-3 are chartered by Blessed Trinity Anglican Church in El Cajon and we welcome those from any church home and those without a church home. The faith-based program is Bible-centered and common to Christians worldwide. We welcome those of other faith backgrounds as well.
