Visit our Troop with your family. Troop CA-3 is an outreach ministry of Blessed Trinity Anglican Church in El Cajon (a Reformed Episcopal Church in the Anglican Church in North America), Members of many area churches participate and help our Trail Life Troop. For example, First Baptist Church hosts our monthly meeting in their fellowship hall (190 E. Douglas; 3rd Thursday, 6:15 pm-7:45 pm). Please email TrailLifeElCajon@gmail.com so we can have additional age-appropriate materials as your boys take part in the activities.
Who? Boys from Age 5 through Age 17 are engaged in a Troop setting taught by fathers and encouraged to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills to carry out the mission for which God created them. We encourage father-son teams and age-based patrols. Grandfathers and other fathers help out when a father is not part of the Trailman's life.
What? For about $30 per year, boys experience becoming leaders and adventures in a Christ-Centered, Boy-Focused outdoor environment where a boy wants to learn life lessons from his father and other men who are role models.
When? Our Trail Life Troop has one regular monthly meeting on a Thursday at 6:15 pm (finished by 7:45 pm). We have an outdoor event each month on the weekend (hikes on Saturday; campouts from Friday evening for one or two nights).
